If I'm not careful I'll choose my plans over His purposes. His ancient text tells us, "Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails." I'm living life in the way I do, where I do because I believe God created me with a purpose. If you allow yourself to become too committed to the original plan, you can miss the goal or abandon the values the plan was supposed to serve.
Use plan ‘B’ or ‘C’ or ‘W’ to achieve the goal. Take the detour while keeping the same destination.

Looking back on those goals now, I'm thankful to see many boxes checked! When I turned 30 I charted a course for where I wanted to be at when I turned 40. I turned 40 this past weekend and in addition to celebrating with friends and family and reading lots of kind words from all of you, I took some time to reflect.
