If I'm not careful I'll choose my plans over His purposes. His ancient text tells us, "Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails." I'm living life in the way I do, where I do because I believe God created me with a purpose. If you allow yourself to become too committed to the original plan, you can miss the goal or abandon the values the plan was supposed to serve.

Use plan ‘B’ or ‘C’ or ‘W’ to achieve the goal. Take the detour while keeping the same destination.
#SELFCONTROL APP WINDOWS SOFTWARE#
Free Software and volunteers have made a Linux version and a Windows version. To make it easier to implement this policy. Smart App Control is based on WDAC, allowing enterprise customers to create a policy that offers the same security and compatibility with the ability to customize it to run line-of-business (LOB) apps. Freedom blocks apps, websites or the entire Internet on iPhones, iPads, Windows and Mac. Starting in Windows 11 version 22H2, Smart App Control provides application control for consumers.
#SELFCONTROL APP WINDOWS MAC#
A free Mac application to help you avoid distracting websites. Free Software means you are free to use, modify, and redistribute the application and the source code. SelfControl is an OS X application which blocks access to incoming and/or. The sourcecode and wiki are on Github, and there is a ticket system too. Feel free to make improvements, linux ports, etc. While reviewing that list and writing a new one for 50 😳, it occurred to me a lesson I learned in my 30s, *especially* in the last 3 years: SelfControl is Free Software under the GPL. Others were missed, however, but now I've got an opportunity to achieve those and more in the next decade and I'm closer now than I was 10 years ago.

Looking back on those goals now, I'm thankful to see many boxes checked! When I turned 30 I charted a course for where I wanted to be at when I turned 40. I turned 40 this past weekend and in addition to celebrating with friends and family and reading lots of kind words from all of you, I took some time to reflect.
